Kim Kardashian's game makes $700,000 a day
Kim Kardashian is famous for doing nothing. Now she's got a game that's pulling in $700,000 a day where players have to do, well, nothing.
"Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" from Glu Mobil lets you create an avatar that can work to achieve virtual A-list status. Your mission: Hob-nobbing with celebrities, going to a photo shoot and wearing expensive clothes.
If sales continue at their current rate, the game will gross $200 million in its first year, according to Doug Creutz, an analyst at Cowen and Company. That would put "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" in the big leagues with smash-hit mobile games like Candy Crush.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Is The Most Beautiful Actress In The History Of Nigeria
Omotola is the most beautiful Nigerian actress since the making of the first feature film "Palaver" in Nigeria in 1926 to date. She is also one of the most wonderful actresses in the world and my judgment has nothing to do with her being named among the most influential icons in the world in the TIME 100 of 2013. She is the epitome of beauty from the crown of her perfect head to the delicate toes of her perfect feet and that is why she is always making the list of the prettiest and sexiest actresses in Nollywood and also featured in the 34 Beauty Queens of Nollywood and Kannywood as never seen before in a single publication in the second edition of the NOLLYWOOD MIRROR® SERIES.
She is the most liked Nigerian actress on Facebook and the most viewed on all mobile devices.
She seems to be getting more beautiful as she is growing older as a happily married mother of four lovely children. And her handsome husband air pilot Capt. Matthew Ekeinde adores her 24/7.
Romelu Lukaku flying in to complete £25million move to Everton from Chelsea on five-year deal
Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of completing a £25million move from Chelsea to Everton.
The
striker had been expected to join up with Jose Mourinho's side on
Wednesday afternoon but he is now flying to England from Belgium to seal
a five-year, £75,000-a-week deal with the Toffees.
On
Wednesday Lukaku posted a picture of himself on Twitter seated on a
jet, giving a thumbs-up and broad smile, along with the caption: 'Time
to write a new chapter.'
The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Goodison Park last season, scoring 15 Premier League goals in 31 appearances after joining the club on transfer deadline day.
His future has been the subject of intense speculation over the summer, with Atletico Madrid and Wolfsburg among the clubs interested in his services.
But Everton boss Roberto Martinez has convinced the in-demand forward that his future lies on Merseyside as he bids to improve upon last season's fifth-placed finish.
Lukaku's goals proved vital as Everton mounted an impressive assault on the league's top four, only to see their challenge for a Champions League spot come to a disappointing end in the closing weeks of the campaign.
He will eligible to face Mourinho's men on August 30 when Everton host Chelsea at Goodison.
Speaking to TALKSPORT about a deal for Lukaku last week, Martinez said: 'Rom fits in really, really well at Goodison.
'We created a fantastic bond with the player, and the player with the fans, and that is something that we would love to extend.'
Nkiru Sylvanus In Never-Seen-Before Pictures
Screen goddess and former aide to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State,
Nkiru Sylvanus, is no doubt a pretty actress who is loved by many, even
her critics. Her acting prowess is second to none and that is what many
love her for.
From her famous character as Blessing a.k.a 'Ble Ble' in the soar-away Nollywood flick ‘A Cry For Help’ to her present role as 'Sandy' in her recently released self-produced flick, ‘The Voice’, Nkiru has shown that she is the unsung African queen of the movie.
The fair-skinned role-interpreter has released some pictures, which from all indications, shows how pretty the movie star is. The actress showed a more sophisticated, refined and rejuvenated Nkiru Sylvanus, who is poised to keep the world thirst for more with her exclusive talent.
Meanwhile, it has been disclosed to us that Nkiru is set to take her movie to the United States of America (USA) for premiere. She is reportedly taking this step due to popular demand from her fans over there. The event will take place in September 2014.

She's currently loved up with TOWIE hunk Elliott Wright after years of struggling to find Mr Right.
And Chloe Sims certainly looked like the cat who'd got the cream during a recent holiday in Alicante, Spain as she showed off her slender figure on the beach.
The 31-year-old star pulled out her best model poses as she sauntered along the sand in a skimpy two-piece with a gold beach bag slung under one arm.

Female suicide bombers kill three, injure 13 in city of Kano during Eid al-Fitr.
Two blasts by female suicide bombers have killed three people and injured 13 in Nigeria's Kano city, bringing the number of attacks this week in the area to five and overshadowing festivities marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
A woman detonated low-calibre explosives packed to her torso at a petrol station in the Hotoro area on the outskirts of the city, targeting women who had lined up to buy kerosene, Kano police spokesman Musa Magaji Majia told AFP news agency.
Majia said 10 victims were rushed to the hospital after the blast that went off at roughly 09:30 GMT on Monday and that three had died.
Roughly three hours after the petrol station blast another female bomber approached the Trade Fair Complex in a key commercial district, Kano state police chief Aderele Shinaba said.
She was stopped at the gate and blew herself up, he added. "It was the same modus operandi," Shinaba said. "Six people were injured, including two (police) officers."
Celebrations banned
The violence marred what was supposed to be a festive day in Kano, a city of more than six million people and the largest in Nigeria's mainly Muslim north.
The city of Kano has banned all public worship and celebrations over the holiday marking the end of Ramadan that is currently underway. Other northern Nigerian cities have banned personal vehicles, fearing intensified violence over the holidays.
Kano is outside the region of northern Nigeria that has been under emergency rule for more than a year, but it is a frequent target of Boko Haram attacks.
On Sunday, a 15-year-old girl detonated a bomb near a temporary university site, killing only herself, said Kano State Shinaba said.
Five others were killed in a church bombing the same day, he said, and a third bomb was discovered at a mosque before it exploded, harming no one, Reuters news agency reported.
Three suspected Boko Haram members were arrested immediately after the church bombing, Shinaba said.

Gbenga Daniel to Amosun: Stop rubbishing my legacy
A former governor of Ogun State, Mr. Gbenga
Daniel, has berated Governor Ibikunle Amosun for rubbishing all the “good
works” he did during his tenure between 2003 and 2011.
Daniel, who is being prosecuted for financial
impropriety by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, told journalists
at his Mende home in Lagos on Tuesday that the Amosun administration had failed
and he was working hard to ensure that Amosun did not win a second term in
2015.
He boasted that during his tenure, he built roads
and awarded contracts to only indigenes of the state but Amosun had not built a
single road but was only expanding the existing ones. He said the Amosun
administration had incurred debt to the tune of N300bn in less than four years.
Airport harassment: Obiageli Ezekwesili Tell her Story
A former Minister of Education and a champion of
the #BringBackOurGirls Campaign, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili, has narrated her
ordeals in the hands of security operatives at the Abuja International Airport
on Monday.
Ezekwesili was delayed for over 40 minutes by men
of the Department of State Security, who harassed her based on “orders from
above.”
Narrating her ordeals to members of the Christian
Association of Nigerian-Americans, to whom she is a trustee on Tuesday,
Ezekwesili gave a blow by blow account of her ordeals in the hands of DSS.
This was contained in a statement by the CANAN
Executive Director, Pastor Laolu Akande, after the former minister visited the
group in London.
Akande quoted Ezekwesili as saying that, “I
arrived at the airport yesterday (on Monday) to travel to London on British
Airline. First, after the luggage screening section, I moved to the Customs
people, sitting right next to it and do a more thorough bag search. Rather than
they handling my luggage as is the practice, there were three SSS men, who
rudely took over before they could do so, and ordered me to open my bag.
“I was travelling light, with just my hand
luggage leather roll on and my computer bag. I placed the bag for them (to see)
and one was already furiously frisking through it when the Customs advised that
a woman be allowed to do it. She was allowed and she did it.
“She finished, zipped up the luggage and they
said I could proceed. But I asked that the computer bag be also searched, and
they did.

2015: Verbal attacks on President Goodluck Jonathan
Apparently preparing the ground for
formal declaration of his presidential ambition, Kano State Governor, Rabio
Musa Kwankwaso, yesterday, launched series of verbal attacks on President
Goodluck Jonathan, accusing him of failing to provide security for lives and
property in Nigeria.
Kwankwaso, therefore, concluded that
it would be difficult for Jonathan to win election in any of the 19 northern
states if a free and fair election was conducted in 2015.
In five posts he dropped on his Twitter page, Kwankwaso chided Jonathan and his administration for making Nigerians flee the country and take refuge in nearby countries.
In five posts he dropped on his Twitter page, Kwankwaso chided Jonathan and his administration for making Nigerians flee the country and take refuge in nearby countries.
In the first post, the governor
said: “I have not taken the time to go to the South to study what is happening,
but I had time to study the North. In the 19 states, I don’t see any state
where under free and fair election; people will go and vote for the status quo.
The status quo is not good for anybody because they have failed to provide the
basic services to justify why the people voted for this government.
He also accused the administration
of allowing insurgents to thrive to a point that they are trying to create
their own territory within Nigeria without any response from the government.
Why Jonathan is impeaching every body – Nda-Isaiah
SAM Nda- Isaiah, who until recently
resigned his position as the Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, in this
interview, wants all democratic arsenals to be deployed towards ensuring that
President Goodluck Jonathan does not continue till 2019.
Nda-Isaiah’s grouse is hinged on his
believe that the perceived incompetence of the administration, is responsible
for the current disorderly state of the nation. He also says his decision to
run for the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC,
was informed by the desire to arrest Nigeria’s descent to doom.
Excerpts:
Excerpts:
YOUR decision to run for the
presidency has attracted mixed reactions. In the mind of some
people, you are probably acting out a script while others don’t consider you a
serious aspirant. Are you really serious about running?
I don’t think any body will say so. Maybe some people said so at the beginning but by now,I think it has become very clear to those people. Whose script are my acting? I am glad that you read my articles and I am sure that you and many of those who know me, understand my passion for this country and my desire to see it work.
