Police nabs run-away pastor who allegedly operates Ikorodu ritual den

The Police in Lagos have arrested the General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry, a.k.a House of Mercy, located in Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos.He is reported to have been captured after a tip-off around Ebute Metta area yesterday...The 50 year old Anambra State indigene, Pastor Ernest Nwankwo allegedly sent female member of his church, Mrs Rosemary Chukwu to kidnap a boy for ritual purpose last week.When she was caught with her neighbor's son gagged in a box, she led the mob to his church and by the time they arrived at the premises, he had absconded..

A man who was found in shackles in the premises and claimed he was not mad but was kidnapped around Ibadan expressway since 2012.He also said many like him had been brought there and they take them and never return.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide confirmed the arrest “Yes, the Pastor has been arrested today around Ebutte Meta.”
