Ex Miss Venezuela/Telemundo actress & ex shot dead in Venezuela

Former Miss Venezuela 2004 and popular telenovela actress, Monica Spear, 29, and her ex-husband Thomas Berry, 39, were shot dead in their car on a highway in Venezuela by armed robbers in front of their 5 year old daughter on Monday January 6th, local news reports.

Monica and Thomas were traveling with their daughter late Monday night when their car hit a sharp object which had been placed on the Puerto Cabello highway.

Mary Konye, the 21 year old jealous friend being accused of attacking Naomi Oni with acid in Dec. 2012 made some shocking allegations of her own in court today. She told the courts through her lawyers that Naomi set up the attack and asked her (Mary Konye) to 'play the stalker' and throw the acid on her face, which was all part of an elaborate plan to be rich and famous.

Of the 30 honorable members that make up the Sokoto State House of Assembly, 27 of them who came into the house through the PDP flag today renounced their membership of the ruling party and defected to All Progressive Party (APC) which happens to be the state Governor, Aliyu Wammako's party. Governor Wammako in October 2013 defected with four other serving PDP Governors to the APC. The people that defected include Speaker of the Assembly and other principal officers

A 12-year-old Chinese boy has had to undergo eye surgery after his teacher allegedly told his classmates to slap him in the face. The boy, was reportedly struck around 40 times after he failed to do his homework.

The eerie pic above was shown in court today to jurors in the Naomi Oni acid bath case. It's a CCTV image allegedly showing her friend Mary Konye dressed in Muslim veil and walking closely behind Naomi, just moments before she doused her with acid and destroyed her looks forever!

Aviation Minister Stella Oduah erases education references online after SR report

I saw the Sahara Reporters news yesterday but decided to leave it alone until the Minister responds to the allegations. And she has, by erasing her educational references online after SR's report hit the net.

According to the report by Sahara Reporters, Aviation Minister Stella Odua's Master's degree which she claimed to have obtained from St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia, US and presented to the Senate in 2011 as a ministerial nominee, is fake, because the school does not offer graduate programs.

21 year old acid victim Naomi Oni was disfigured for life after an unknown person wearing a Niqāb threw acid in her face as she walked home from work on Sunday December 30th 2012 in Lodge Avenue Dagenham, east London.

Naomi only described her attacker as a woman wearing an Islamic veil. Over a year later, police has been able to identify the person behind the veil. It was her jealous 21 year old friend, Mary Konye.

According to new reports released by police and tendered in court, Mary, a student at Hertfordshire university, disguised herself in a Niqāb, which showed only her eyes and closely followed Naomi home and allegedly poured the acid on her when they got to a deserted area. She fled the scene immediately after.

Oh dear. An impostor blogger with a wild sense of imagination has deceived the world, if the article from BBC today is to be believed. Fresh strike looms as schools re-open
