Uganda may be a homohobic country, but their men rank high in Googling gay porn

Uganda is 3rd on the list of countries where "man f**king man" is most searched for, behind Kenya and Pakistan according to a new article by the UK Guardian. Check on it below...
The anti-homosexuality bill in Uganda is more than simply a bill about homosexuality, and it is more than a pernicious piece of local legislation that affects Uganda alone. Of course, the bill itself is bad enough. Originally conceived back in 2009, it was introduced with the aim of ridding Uganda of homosexuality and, to begin with, contained the death penalty. An international outcry forced the Ugandans to drop that section of the bill, but the form in which it passed through the legislature just before Christmas is dreadful enough, with homosexuality now leading to life imprisonment and a prison sentence for those who do not report gay people to the authorities within 24 hours.

Protect your Android Phone with these Security Apps

Your mobile phone is probably your most important digital possession that holds your contacts, emails, text messages, personal photos and other confidential stuff that you would not like anyone else to see. Yet, it is so easy to lose one as you are carrying it everywhere you go.

There are a plethora of security apps in the Google Play store that help you safeguard your Android phone and offer options that increase your chances of locating your lost (or stolen) device. The Lookout app was the most popular choice for determining the location of a lost phone but with Google’s own Android Device Manager available, Lookout can be skipped (unless your phone is running an older version of Android).
The Android Device Manager shows a list of all Android phones and tablets that are connected to your Google Account and helps you locate them on a Google Map. You can ring your phone (in case it is hiding beneath the pillow) from the browser, lock the device with a custom PIN or perform a factory reset which permanently deletes all the data on your phone.

Android Device Manager requires that the device is online – connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi – for you to remotely ring, lock or erase the phone. There’re however apps like Prey and Where’s my Droid app that let you remotely send commands to your phone via text messages.

Tolu Ogunlesi writes open letter to President Jonathan

It's a season of open letters...here's another one from award winning journalist & social commentator Tolu Ogunlesi to the president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan...
Dear Mr. President,
I am constrained to write this open letter to you before this season of letters comes to a close. I will go straight to the issues at stake. Let’s start with the level of toxic-ness in the air, sustained to a large extent by the attitude of your array of spokespersons, who today do little more than insult and dismiss everyone deemed to be an “enemy” of the President. Just as you have a point when you said that the easiest way to be deemed “progressive” is to abuse Jonathan, it has also become that criticising the President quickly earns one all sorts of unprintable labels from the your camp.

Apple iPad Air: Lighter and more powerful than ever before

Apple continues to dominate the tablet realm and despite worthy efforts from the Android camp, no one has been able to truly knock them off the pedestal. Rather than just getting a beefed up version of the iPad 4th Gen this year, we got a completely overhauled iPad, heavily influenced by the iPad mini. The iPad Air is currently the lightest 10-inch (9.7 to be specific) tablet in the market and manages to beat the Sony Xperia Tablet Z as well by a good margin. But is the drastic weight shedding and new internals worth the higher starting price?

Man City Signs Nigerian Wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho

Man City Set to Signs Nigerian Wonder kid Kelechi Iheanacho…… Etihad Stadium side to bring in young goal machine. Man City have close in on a deal to sign Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho according to the Daily Mirror.
Manuel Pellegrini has been chasing the teenager for some weeks now but the Etihad Stadium side are tying up a work permit for the 17 year old forward after Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain used their contacts in Spain to set up training facilities for the starlet marksman prior to his official move to the Premier League club.

Goal revealed last week that a £250,000 transfer fee has been agreed for Iheanacho, with a further £300,000  being paid to the Taye Academy in Owerri and £350,000 to the youngster’s father.
Kelechi Iheanacho was a huge success at last summer’s FIFA Under 17 World Cup, finishing the tournament as the top scorer as Nigeria won the title down chiefly to the six goals he netted in seven matches.
Clearly the youngster will not be figuring in first team action for some time but when he is primed and ready to do so he will have to fight his way past the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and John Guidetti for a spot in Pellegrini’s side.
